Los Angeles, CA November 22, 2013 – The Missouri Lottery signed an agreement earlier this year to use Diamond Game’s patented LT-3 lottery ticket dispenser for a pilot program in fraternal and veteran’s clubs across the state. The Lottery cancelled its pull-tab program a few years ago, but decided to reintroduce the program to consumers in conjunction with the LT-3 dispenser. The LT-3 is bringing pull-tabs back to the Missouri Lottery’s portfolio of products.
The Missouri Lottery pilot program launched on October 1, 2013 and will consist of 100 LT-3 dispensers in 50 fraternal and veteran’s clubs across the state. “We are thrilled and proud to be working with the Missouri Lottery on this pilot program for the LT-3. We are confident that our innovative product will help revitalize pull-tab sales for the Lottery and attract new players,” said Jim Breslo, Diamond Game’s CEO.
“The addition of the LT-3 pull-tab dispensers is another exciting option for the lottery player and we are excited to be partnering with Diamond Game for this product release. This new product will help provide much needed funds for public education in Missouri, which is where 100 percent of lottery proceeds go,” said May Scheve Reardon, Executive Director, Missouri Lottery.
This has been a great year for Diamond Game. Over the past 12 months, the Company has installed LT-3 machines in bingo halls across Ontario with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG). Thus far, 430 machines have been installed in 15 locations. The Company recently launched the LT-3 in bingo and fraternal halls in New Mexico under the authority of the New Mexico Gaming Control Board. These installations follow Diamond Game’s successful program in Maryland where there are over 400 LT-3 machines in operation. The agreement with the Missouri Lottery demonstrates the broad acceptance of the LT-3 as a fresh update to the traditional ITVM.
